This weekend, Greenlawn Funeral Home Southwest hosted its Before I Die Festival. The event features workshops focused on hospice care and estate planning along with other activities helping people plan for their own death.

After growing up with a father who was a funeral director, Irving Sanchez III was inspired to venture into the funeral profession. He and his wife recently founded Sanchez Rehoboth Mortuary and Cremation Services.

Funeral Home Receives Recognition

Recently, we received a nomination for Combs Parson and Collins Funeral Home in Richmond, Kentucky. The woman who nominated them praises the funeral home for going above and beyond to take care of their families and employees. A perk of working there is that every year near Christmas, all the employees are treated to a nice dinner out and given a gift.
