Frazer Consultants started a new trend in register books begining in October of 2006 with their aluminum photo frame style books. Funeral Homes throughout North America started to discover that the more they personalized their register books the more books they could sell to each family.
Since that early success Frazer Consultants has developed more books in different materials to give their customers more choices. Personalized Tribute Candles and the Funeral Industry:
The Eve of a Second Revolution

Candles have a long history, dating back to as early as 3000 B.C.  Even since their earliest invention candles have served a wide range of purposes.  They have been used as lanterns, Christmas tree lights, and symbols in religious ceremonies.  The second patent ever issued in the United States was issued to Joseph Sampson in 1790 for a new method of candle-making.  In 1829, however, the candle industry was devastated due to the distillation of kerosene.  No longer a primary means of light, candles have since been used primarily for ceremonial and decorative purposes.

Beginning around the year 2000, the funeral industry began to experience a major shift in services, the Personalization revolution.  In keeping with this new age of Personalization, many funeral homes were looking for new products and services.  Matthew G. Frazer, now president of Frazer Consultants, met this need by inventing a patented process for easy, inexpensive, in-house personalization of candles.  Since the inception of the personalized Tribute Candle, recent studies indicate that now over 40% of funeral homes use some sort of personalized candle at every service.

The candle personalization process developed by Matthew G. Frazer is a labeling process, which enables funeral directors, using nothing more than a computer, a standard ink-jet or laser printer, and specially formatted decal labels, to personalize candles with the deceased’s photo, name, and dates.

This original Tribute Candle is a glass candle that is hand-wrapped with one of a variety of different background scenes.  The candle has two spots for personalization: the oval for the deceased’s photograph and the name plate for the deceased’s name and dates.  The personalization process is so easy that all the funeral director must do is print and apply the personalization decals to the candle.  Eliminating the hassle and frustration associated with trying to wrap the candle at the funeral home, the candle is hand-wrapped with the background scene before shipping to the funeral home.

The original Tribute Candle should not be confused with the imitation “knock-offs” attempted by other companies in the funeral industry.  No other candle can compete with the quality, ease, and convenience of the original Tribute Candle.  This original Tribute Candle is currently being used by more than 2,500 funeral homes throughout North America.

Over the past five years, funeral homes have been asking for more out of their Tribute Candle.  Always listening to funeral home needs and wanting to remain the industry leader in innovative personalization, Frazer Consultants is again ready to revolutionize the funeral industry with the new Life Candle.  The Life Candle allows for the endless personalization possibilities many funeral homes have been requesting.  With the Life Candle, all personalization, including that of the background scene, is performed in-house by the funeral director.  This means no more worries about the need to inventory multiple scenes and yet the personalization is still so easy that anyone, no matter how pressed for time, can do it using the provided software.  The flexibility of the four-sided Life Candle allows the funeral home to offer both themed candles as well as candles with one or up to six different photographs.  Prayers and/or poems of the families’ choosing may also be put on the back side of the candle.  In fact, the Life Candle is so versatile that no longer must it be confined to funeral services.  Funeral homes looking to make an impact with families year round can offer the Life Candle for other events, including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, or graduations; again, the possibilities are limited only by the imagination.  The Life Candle is offered in two sizes, a larger four inch by six inch size and also a smaller two inch by three inch, keepsake size.

A funeral home looking to begin or enhance their personalization services need not look any further than Frazer Consultants.  The industry leader in personalization, Frazer Consultants is ready to help your funeral home offer the best but yet most convenient personalization products to the families you serve.  In aligning your funeral home with Frazer Consultants, you will stay one step ahead of the competition.  Do you want to be known in your community as an innovator or an imitator?  Frazer Consultants both encourages and invites you to become part of the gold standard in funeral service personalization.  Do something so that families will remember you…Frazer Consultants can provide you with the expertise and products to make this happen.  Your funeral home’s revolution is just a phone call away so call a representative today.
