Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home of Fairfield, Connecticut, was honored with the NFDA’s 2017 Pursuit of Excellence Award. It was one of only 164 funeral homes to receive the award.

Funeral Director Crystal Matthews recently opened the Matthews Family Mortuary in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The funeral home plans to celebrate their grand opening on November 11th.

Brainard Funeral Home is hosting a “Treats for Troops” event. The event will help collect candy and other goods to create care packages for soldiers overseas.
